Aguascalientes stands out as the state with the warmest people in Mexico, a place filled with history and traditions that have shaped the identity of the streets of its Historic Center. Part of this culture comes, too, from its municipalities, towns full of magic that promise to offer great experiences to every visitor.
Hotel Boutique Casa del Jardín is one of those buildings that has withstood the test of time and, till this very day, offers any visitor the opportunity to find out what Aguascalientes is made of. The hotel is a big house built at the end of the 19th century that belonged to the father of former state governor Osornio Camarena. Years later, in 1963, the estate was acquired by Rodolfo González Muñoz and his wife Mercedes Romo Santini, who occupied the house and raised their eight children there.
Currently, different details and decorative elements left by the families who lived there, like the beautiful stained glass doors and exquisite talavera pottery that embellish the walls and evoke typical Mexican architecture from the Porfirio Díaz era.
This emblematic hotel has nine rooms, each of which relates to a representative element of historic Aguascalientes. Room categories are divided in three: Deluxe, Junior Suite and Master Suite, with prices ranging approximately from $1,600 to $3,000. However, you may find promotions on their web page starting at $1,200.
Besides lodging, Boutique Hotel Casa del Jardín also offers the possibility of hosting dinner parties and events in its facilities. There is a venue for private events and a beautiful terrace with a view of Jardín de San Marcos, available for any kind of social event.
